Lewis Carroll's the nursery 'ALICE'
ルイス・キャロル自身が０～5歳児向けに短く翻案した「こども部屋のアリス」(洋書)英国のOmega Books Limitedによる1985年初版のものです
1890年版のジョン・テニエルの挿絵を20枚、こちらも幼児向けに特別に拡大しカラーを施されています
語りかけるような文体で子どもが物語の世界に入りやすいです
「Did you ever see a Rabbit that had a watch, and a pocket to put it in?」
「And what do you think happened to her?」
絵本の読み聞かせには、感情を込めたり声色を変えたりせず書かれてある文のみ読むスタイルと、子どもたちにお話に沿った問いかけをしながら読んでいくスタイルがあります
この絵本は、後者で読み聞かせをしている方に問いかけのアイディア満載でオススメですね
英語育児をしている方にも役立つ問いかけ、フレーズがたくさんあるのでぜひ一度読んでいただきたいです

It is a very interactive book with a lot of questions in the story line which draws children into the story.

実は、私幼児教育や英語に興味があり、学生のころは主専の傍らサブコースで幼稚園教諭のコースを受講していました（結局教授とうまくいかず途中でリタイアしてしまったのですが…今でもちょっと後悔しています…）。
なので、絵本のこともたくさん知りたいので、ブログとても楽しみです！
海外の絵本はイラストも可愛いですね～^^
